Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride treatment is used to prevent tooth decay in children or for cases where routine oral hygiene is not enough to prevent decay. Fluoride treatment is applied in a gel, paste, foam, or varnish form and only takes a few minutes from start to finish.
Our specialist will provide fluoride treatment to strengthen your teeth and prevent cavities. Depending on your requirements, we will provide you a concentrated gel, foam, or rinse. The treatment can be done with the use of a brush, swab, or tray. When fluoride reaches your teeth, it is absorbed by the enamel. Fluoride treatment takes just a few minutes but you’ll be asked to avoid eating anything for half an hour.
Our dentist will examine your oral health and recommend accordingly. You might require multiple visits if your enamel is prone to cavities. Since excess fluoride can be bad, take fluoride treatment under professional supervision only and avoid over the counter fluoride products.
